Ian is one of the founders of the practice in Traralgon, is managing director, and has been a driving force behind the culture, growth and success of McMillans.  

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he has a broad range and depth of experience with small and medium size businesses and knows what makes them tick.  

His knowledge and skills in taxation, asset protection and business dynamics see’s him assisting many multi-owner businesses, particularly in the service, construction and maintenance industries.  

Away from work, Johno is a founding member of the Gippsland Mountain Bike Association and is often out riding or advocating for mountain bike trails in Gippsland.

Ian is a Certified Practicing Accountant, with a Bachelor of Business ( Monash University ) and a Registered Tax Agent. Areas of expertise include KPI reporting, taxation minimisation and business structuring. Ian has experience across a diverse range of industries including retail, real estate, building & construction, land subdivision, medical practices, hospitality and manufacturing. 

Ian's interests outside of work includes enjoying Gippsland and all it has to offer... boating, fine dining and golf.
