Robert was the first Certified Financial Planner appointed in Gippsland and has been practising Financial Planning, his second profession, since 1989 (Robert is also a lawyer and notary public). In 2002 he won the title of Money Management Australian Financial Planner of the Year and he joined McMillans in 2003 following the aquisition of Delburn Garrisons.
Robert's broad experience was recognised when he was asked to write (and update annually) the key Investment and Finance chapters of the Australian Financial Planning Handbook. He has a particular interest in succession and estate planning.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys reading widely, sports cars, walking and relaxing with family whether at home, in the city or at Mallacoota.

Gerard is one of the founding partners of the practice in Traralgon and has been dealing directly with clients’ finances since 1971. More recently he has been specialising in superannuation and retirement planning. Now partly retired Gerard has experienced first hand what is required from a cash flow and time control point of view.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he has a broad range and depth of experience with small and medium size businesses and knows what makes them tick.  

His knowledge and skills in taxation, asset protection and business dynamics see’s him assisting many multi-owner businesses, particularly in the service, construction and maintenance industries.  

Away from work, Johno is a founding member of the Gippsland Mountain Bike Association and is often out riding or advocating for mountain bike trails in Gippsland.
